I had some thought that this might be in the works or now going on. On my first duty station I saw an aerospace badge and realized that most military who get that designation usually ends up in NASA. My mind went whirring for a bit and thought about the debris in space. Did a google search and found this online. Just wanted to let everyone aware and see if USofA can get a business going on this. I think this company is the first one open. Haven't seen their how to's for retrieval but in the NY Times it seems like it's gonna be unmanned and picked up by glue. I do know that some people like to explore and see stuff. Especially if we open an aerospace project like this can bring in a lot of people who are health oriented and would love to see earth from above. Good way to keep busy and productive.

A worthy mission for sure. They've been warning about too much undetectable space junk for some time now. Hopefully they will get something going before something catastrophic happens....or until we finally figure out how to get Star Trek "shields" working on our spacecraft

I think sound waves can be a good way to make force fields. Bose has this super noise cancellation technology where a baby is asleep and they rang a Buddhist temple bell. Can't remember if between the bell or an enclosed area speaker or something but the baby never woke up.
