No one is as vulnerable to scams as the elderly. I watched my father succumb to the siren song of telemarketers and he was angry with me when I attempted to "fix" some of the trouble he got into. Be careful on the telephone my friends...

These scammers know that they are contacting an elderly person. My neighbor was lucky I was there with her the day she came out of the hospital for a heart condition. No sooner than she got home, the phone rings and it's this predator from Jamaica. He didn't care that she had just had treatment for A-Fib. I took over, and that was the end of that one. If you can turn the tables on them, they'll stop. I got cursed out by this fool before he hung up. My neighbor immediately went from stressed out to uncontrollable laughter. And I helped stop one predator from stealing from at least one elderly woman.
