Attorney Plotting ‘Legal Takedown’ of CNN For ‘Fake News’

You can't put CNN out of business! It distracts the zombies and keeps them off the streets

Good luck to her, but I think she's bitten off more than she can chew. I'm no lover of CNN, which I consider to be a highly partisan tool of the political left and progressives in the U.S., but I don't think one of our courts (many of which are presided over by left-wing judges appointed by Democrats) will "take down" CNN, which I believe can resist this suit on 1st Amendment grounds. If Ms. Turner can take down CNN in court, then the precedent will have been set for the lefty progressives to go after Fox News and other right-wing news services. Do we want to open that Pandora's Box? I think CNN (and other services like it) will only be taken down one way, and that is when enough people become convinced that it is spewing lefty-progressive propaganda and quit watching it. Loss of income will speak louder than judges in this case.

She's going to be up against some tough lawyers, don't think CNN uses first year lawyers.
