SCPO (Join to see) She was quite a ship, and had a crew that would not quit! She survived hitting a Japanese mine killing 71 sailors and wounding some 40+ yet the crew saved her to fight another day. She was also in the Battle Of Leyte Gulf where she fought gallantly but could not survive a bomb down her stack. But all but 22 survived her sinking. The ship and crew were in the war to win!
