Very tough target set to weaponeer. As someone said, everything is buried but B-1 has loiter time, defenses and avionics to make up for that

If there is anyone on the ground that can be used, you can run an electric current through the ground it's basically just as simple as pretty much sticking to rods in the ground and it can be done over quite long distances and the water variances in the soil can actually help determine where there are man-made Pockets in the ground

You have to realize North Korea bury their infrastructure very deep and they have literally hundreds of decoy sites.

It's likely such a strike would inaugurate massive return fire directed at Seoul, killing tens of thousands.

I think it is better to wait for the sanctions to take hold and use diplomacy.

Interesting, one of the last things I did before retiring in 90s was brief the PACAF CC on the capabilities of the B-1 in relation to Korea. He was impressed with what we could do then so with all the upgrades since then this is probably a pretty accurate assessment.

I think diplomacy has failed...for decades. To let someone have a stick, who wants to hit you with a stick....seems like something I would not allow on the playground.
