The older model Rugers are so difficult to reassemble, I know people who only run a bore snake and don't do any further cleaning. The new model is much easier.

I learned my cleaning habits for cleaning firearms when I was infantry also did the same with vehicles when I was a mechanic when I am working on a vehicle and I have it apart I pressure wash it
