Starting with D-Day, much of what people discussed with PFC Edward "Ed" J. Tipper, Jr. spanned his 2-months, 6-days of military actions in WWII. However, both his 30-year teaching career and military contributions will be forever memorialized by enthusiastic students of WWII he lectured, and in Steven Spielberg's 2001 HBO miniseries, 'Band of Brothers'. PFC Tipper was laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery, a National Military Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. REF:
