'Band of Brothers' veteran Edward Tipper dies in Colorado

Starting with D-Day, much of what people discussed with PFC Edward "Ed" J. Tipper, Jr. spanned his 2-months, 6-days of military actions in WWII. However, both his 30-year teaching career and military contributions will be forever memorialized by enthusiastic students of WWII he lectured, and in Steven Spielberg's 2001 HBO miniseries, 'Band of Brothers'.
