Banned words: Berkeley drops gendered language from city codes

So, for changing the names "Manhole" to "Maintenance hole" or "man or woman" to "a single gender" or "sister" to "sibling" or "brother" to "sibling" is not over the top and idiotic? Then what? How about changing "Mens Restroom" and "Woman Restroom" to "Gender Friendly Restroom"? Where will the insanity stop?

MSgt (Join to see) - it's not a big deal to me. But then again, I don't bring any baggage into the equation. Don't care as long as I know what the terms are and what they mean.
