Oh wait. Snopes says it's unproven not false; meaning they can neither confirm nor deny. But since the source is the Daily Beast and we've seen many right wing folks post Daily Beast articles and cite them as a trusted source similar to Breitbart, I'll continue to laugh.

The correct title of this article should be, "Victor Sebestyen, a known left wing hack, says that a guy heard from somebody else, that will not be named so that it can not be verified, that Bannon randomly and for no reason, ran up to a complete stranger, and professed his desire to destroy the federal government."
