The thought of denoucing any religion from the highest office violates the constituitional freedom of all citizens. Hopefully the oath towards the Constitution are clear to the next candidate.

We are a nation that embraces many religions, this makes us a melting pot of rich diversity.

While the US may be predominantly Judeo-Christian based on demographics, the nation itself is not.

Ummm...we aren't!
He isn't denouncing any religion. He's stating a fact. We aren't a Judeo-Christian nation. We are a nation of Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Wiccans, Pagans, Agnostics, and Atheists but he is right about one thing. Obama doesn't get to decide what we are and on the flip of that neither do we. OUR Constitution GUARANTEES that we can be whatever religion we chose to be and not leave our choice it in the hands of a majority.
