A big mistake if true and comes to fruition. It's as if the dems want to fully arm terrorism back to its pre 9-11 condition.

I agree, Sir. Gitmo is a small piece to the big puzzle of how we win the Global War on Terror. Over 740 detainees have been RELEASED, and at least 30 percent have returned or suspected of returning to the fight. The number. is probably more like 75 percent. It's like playing a game of capture the flag and the jailer on your team keeps letting the prisoners go. Your chances of winning are diminished each time a prisoner is released. There's a reason the Geneva Conventions allow lawful combatant POWs to be held without charges or trials "until hostilities end." The fewer combatants, the shorter the conflict. At the same time Biden is denying the War on Terror, he prolongs it by keeping troops in Syria and other hot bed locations. Removing them from Afghanistan merely guaranteed terrorists a reprieve and an opportunity to regroup. The Global War on Terror is alive and well. Closing Gitmo would guarantee perpetual war.

It's about time it should have been closed down a decade ago. There is no more global war on terror. We can't be the world's police force and diplomat at the same time.
