"Trump's wall" doesn't exist. Trump's administration only built 15 miles of new wall. 350 miles was replacement or secondary barrier.
So if anything is happening, it's just replacing what's been there for years.
From the Independent: "Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told department employees that he may be green-lighting work on the wall to plug "gaps" in the current wall."
"The Washington Times reported that it reviewed notes from a recent discussion between Mr Mayorkas and employees of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
“It’s not a single answer to a single question. There are different projects that the chief of the Border Patrol has presented and the acting commissioner of CBP presented to me,” Mr Mayorkas reportedly said."
It sounds like Biden is leaving it up to DHS to determine what needs to be renovated.

Construction of Trump’s border wall may continue under Biden, administration admits
Joe Biden can stop construction on the wall, but has not yet taken steps to do so

Trump's wall was a lot more than just the physical wall. It was also a series of EOs and budget transfers in support of the Laws on the books. It only took a week for Biden to tear down that wall (cancel the EOs) and less than a month for the border crisis to blow up so bad. I find nothing comical about suborning the law and tearing down the wall (of law) like Biden has done. It is in utter disregard to the oath of office and borders on treason in my book.

January 2021 reporting shows 47 miles new wall and 450 miles total wall construction. As noted, in the article each contract will have to be negotiated for shutdown costs, “which could run in the billions”.

Trump administration locks down border wall contracts, complicating Biden's pledge to stop...
The Trump administration is continuing to award border wall contracts in the waning days of Donald Trump's presidency, including in areas where private land hasn't yet been acquired, an unusual move that will complicate President-elect Joe Biden's pledge to halt construction.
