Unless china an russia both pledge not to build up their nuclear arsenals then we can't shrink ours. I would love to be in a non nuclear world some day but it won't happen.

If China and Russia both pledged not to build up their Nuclear arsenals , would you believe them ? I would trust China and Russia about as much as I would trust North Korea and Iran.

Sci-Fi author Ray Bradbury once wrote that "We should worship at the altar of the atomic bomb" inasmuch as it made total war unthinkable. Sadly, he didn't foresee the day when a death cult might get their hands on one and be developing the means of delivering it. Thus, what we do with ours becomes irrelevant...
