I admit to being a ton-up boy on the interstate, and there's a reason I'm now in the market for sturdy crash bars, but never in even light traffic. You're not zipping around cars and trucks, those are people. Riding like this requires every driver to be 1000% better at it than you. Some 3 year old kid might feel your lifeless body bounce his car into a ditch. And riding fast is easy. Riding well is hard. Riders have no right to bring non-consenters into our reindeer games. Empty stretch? Ton up, go hands free, etch your chicken strips... Traffic starts to thicken? Be polite, wave to kids, take turns merging, don't play "Surprise!!!" games with the traffic stressed drivers...

If you're not mature enough to respect other people on the road, you're not mature enough for an MC. You're the 2nd amendment guy who shot himself in the face.
