The alt-right article grossly exaggerates the circumstances of medical quarantine. The 'strike force' is local law enforcement, not an outside counter-terror unit. It does not mention any specific area for premises (i.e. home quarantine is potentially possible). It also mentions that those under quarantine have the right to legal counsel in order to challenge in court.
From the actual bill: (NOTICE: You have the right to petition the superior court for release from isolation or quarantine in accordance with WAC 246-100-055. You have a right to legal counsel. If you are unable to afford legal counsel, then counsel will be appointed for you at government expense and you should request the appointment of counsel at this time. If you currently have legal counsel, then you have an opportunity to contact that counsel for assistance.)

Ok, so where are they going to put them then? In their house where they can leave? In a jail cell? Locked up in a hospital? I guess you missed the part " At his or her sole discretion, a local health officer may issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine....." and "A local health officer may invoke the powers of police officers, sheriffs, constables, and all other officers and employees of any political subdivisions within the jurisdiction of the health department to enforce immediately orders given to effectuate the purposes of this section in accordance with the provisions of RCW 43.20.050(4) and 70.05.120." In short, they can just lock you up because they think you maybe a risk. And it is completely illegal and a clear violation of the Constitution.

The growing concerns about the coronavirus in the United States could lead to government officials considering isolation and quarantine as possible measures to contain the virus. So what does that mean in constitutional terms?

LTC Eugene Chu - I do not believe any of your assertions are completely correct.
_The 'strike force' is local law enforcement, not an outside counter-terror unit.
Granted the exaggerated term "strike force" is a concoction of the author. None-the-less, the state of Washington ran recruitment ads for "Isolation & Quarantine Team Consultants" in the fall of 2021. Among their duties is the transport of "guests." Presumably some of these guests are those who will be interned due to involuntary compliance. All I know is that if I am being involuntarily interned, without due process, I don't care if it is by already existing law enforcement, or a strike force formed specifically for the job.

Yes, home quarantine is possible. However, a facility has been identified in Centralia, Washington. "Strike teams will “provide for the needs of travelers” that stay at the facility, which is located in Centralia."

It is important to note that isolation and quarantine have an accepted practical definition, as far as the CDC is concerned.
_Isolation separates people known to be ill from those who people who are not sick
_Quarantine separates and also restricts the movement of people exposed to a contagious disease, but not yet ill, to see if they become sick.

The proposed revision goes beyond those definitions, allowing public health officials (PHO) to inter ANY unvaccinated persons who denies requests for medical examination, testing, treatment, counseling, vaccination, decontamination. There is no apparent requirement that the public health official have probable cause to believe persons have been exposed. I guess it is unlikely that PHO's would go around arbitrarily decide to inter people, but I never though mu governor would make it illegal to buy tomato seeds in a store over 50K sqft and legal in a store under 50k sqft.

Remind me again why anyone is still living there! I can think of a number of Constitutional rights that are going to be violated if that bill passes. I also wonder how many LEO'S would obey the orders.
Sounds like Nazi Germany and rounding up the undesirables (undesirable to nazi's).
