Black Lives Matter, Racism: A Conservative Perspective (Larry Elder Interview)

Awesome argument but blacks need to weigh in, not just white males.

The interview wasn't about Black Lives Matter. It's basically about an educated and informed man calling out the liberal side demanding facts and figures. That he is black is irrelevant to the points taken but he's considered a very small percentage of his demographic. I did see Larry have the typical liberal stance of there's a problem but can't cite one factual thing other than urban legend. The only place race came in was the response to a black man taking the positions he does. Absent a logical and factual narrative, he gets maligned and dismissed. That we see all the time from the Uber Left.

I had a more personal brush with the entitlement mentality. In WA the state minority contracting preference law was sunsetting. I called the proponents office advocating renewal. I just asked what was trying to be solved, how is it measured, and what is the definition of success so you don't need this kind of law anymore? I got screamed at, labeled a bigot, and hung up on. I guess the majority didn't see the usefulness of it either and the renewal initiative failed by a fairly healthy margin. Too bad because I wanted to validate a good reason to support it.
