Between the wife and I, we have over 50 one way trips on that long route, but landing in various places in US over the years. I was in Korea for 7 years and did a more than a few TDYs back to the USA.

Kudos to the reporter who braved economy to write his report - certainly a more honest assessment in my opinion. It will be interesting to see what wins out - the speed of non-stop or the comfort of a transfer. That said, if Qantas can make this work, and make it profitable, then it's a gamechanger, SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint .
