This is from the Jim Crow playbook of VOTER SUPPRESSION. tRUMP and his minions and enablers are in OVERDRIVE. As anyone with a set of eyes can see, first the big LIE about voter fraud due to mail in ballots, THEN attempting to throw a monkey wrench into the US postal service. Then the voter roll purges, THEN the arcane rules for voting, THEN, (here we got) the NEW "POLL TAX" on former felons. The goal was to SILENCE 1.4 million voters. I fully agree with you, Bloomberg does have some skeletons in his closet. But he certainly deserves props for this play.

That is "nice" of him to pay their fines.
There is a term for this - buying votes.

Seeing the threads below, Florida (in this case) has a state law that in order to be reinstated to voter rolls, a convicted felon must pay all their civil fines and forfeitures. You can not like, it, but that is the law Florida's elected representatives came up with, unless or until they change it.
That is not voter suppression; it is the law. Just like you have to be a citizen to vote (in federal elections, anyway), or 18 years old. Those are the rules.

Yeah its rather strange that the paying of fines text in Amendment 4 was implemented by the party of voter suppression a.k.a Republicans. But hey don't worry your Fuhrer may still win re election if the former felons don't vote

SSgt Ray Stone - I'm currently engaging him trying to get some idea's of why he feels that way. Maybe he thinks the "justice" system is not a bastion of bias and racism. IDK. But I did ask.

SFC Tony Bennett we all come from different backgrounds different walks of life, in my eyes no if do something pity for example get caught with weed an get a misdemeanor drug charge once your debts are paid you should have the right to vote. If you're federally convicted for anything you shouldn't be allowed to vote an that goes for white color crimes to that rich executives get hit with. The most serious offenders suffer the most serious consequences. I came from white you would call white trash I grew up in a section 8 housing in south Jersey in a placed called salem country. I had no privilege I had nothing to my name when I graduated high school I enlisted to avoid being homeless but my parents raised me to know the difference between right an wrong. I've never been arrested never been hand cuff when I get pulled over by police regardless of ethnic background I treat with respect an common curiosity. An if I ever get locked up or hand cuffed an processed then I know I deserved because I committed a crime I can't blame anyone but myself nor will I.
