Yeah, his insistence on claiming he was in Vietnam is on him and easily verifiable. Why he continues to say it only demonstrates he has little to no credibility. The ruling of the SCOTUS on Presidential Immunity was an exercise of stating the obvious. Of course Presidents can and should be afforded immunity when exercising their presidential duties. Again, this is obvious. What Jack Smith is trying to suggest is that he should be able to point to the motive for why a President makes any given decision. This is far too subjective, and it will get caught up into the motives of the accuser, determining a President's motives (as we've seen). All it does is invite more circular arguments, more baseless indictments, and more divisiveness in this country.
