Have to agree Now use of force investigators have to take training on what the camera systems can and cannot do. how often the system actually misses what happens Frame rate etc. the cameras are not all seeing and do not capture all that occurs.

Before departments had mandates I wore my own. Never needed for use of force but great for interviews.

You will never please these people, no matter how had you try. For the most part, they exist just to whine and draw their welfare checks.

Correct Sir often they simply embarrass themselves with their own conduct and most reasonable people find that most often they are the cause of the problem. what's sadder is that agency's often do not pursue charges against those who file false claims against officers, and most agency's have record retention policy's that keep these false claims investigations in officers personal files for the sole purpose to be used later as a pattern of conduct when it may suit the agency.

There are more than 900,000 sworn law enforcement officers now serving in the United States,An estimated 62.9 million U.S. residents age 16 or older, or about 26 percent of the population, had one or more contacts with police in 2011 the latest records available. An estimated 31.4 million persons, or one in eight U.S. residents, requested assistance from police at least once in 2011, most commonly to report a crime, suspicious activity or neighborhood disturbance. The majority of persons who requested police assistance in 2011 thought the officers spent an appropriate amount of time with them during the contact (93 percent) and were helpful (86 percent). About nine in 10 reported that they were just as likely or more likely to contact the police again for a similar problem. About one percent of drivers pulled over in traffic stops had physical force used against them by police. Of these drivers, 55 percent believed the police behaved properly during the stop. So are their problems yes are they as pronounced as some may think? is their a lot of Hype about this issue ? people are in a difficult place right now They are inundated with misinformation and strong political views . I find it hard to believe that one person doubts that there is an immediate problem as we see time and time again on live news footage of hatred being turned against our police forces the most unfortunate is that not all police officers are racist or corrupt however the entire legions of or officers ,keepers of safety are taking the blame and sometimes the bullets.
