Bombing plot suspects seek Pro-Trump jurors

I totally forgot about this. Three White Americans plot to conduct a terrorist attack on a bunch of immigrants in a Garden City Kansas apartment complex because of their Muslim background. Arrests made by FBI back in mid-Oct 2016. The real twist is the request from the defense lawyer:
the jury selection procedure is discriminatory and “excludes rural and conservative jurors.” because the jurors in their case will be picked from registered voters from Wichita and surrounding areas, and not from western Kansas which are predominantly Conservatives who voted for Trump and believe in "constitutionality protected speech, assembly and petition, and/or the right to bear arms".

In other words, they want a jury of peers that has the same opinion about Muslim immigrants that the defendants have. Can we all just say, "wow and what the hell!"
