I didnt expect this at all, however as I think about it this is the most heinous act that could befall him.... instead of going away to jail to be forgotten, he will forever be remembered as an American traitor that got away with it. there isn't any place he will be safe

He will be a fucking millionaire in less then a year with book and movie deals. His Dishonorable Discharge will mean shit. He will have enough money to buy security to protect himself while he laugh away the rest of his life. That judge is a disgrace to to his robes and his uniform.

civilian judges should not be able to give sentencing, only opinions on military affairs.

I had a pfc come up hot on a piss test. he was a good troop that did something stupid.... i went before the man and said so. I recommended 30/30 reduction and loss of pay.... they agreed!! he said bullshit he wanted to cut a deal.... he named names of others using..... they tested and got nothing. he said I know they are I sold it to them!! tested again, and nothing.... his sentence 99 years Leavenworth for being a dealer.....
point is I expected more for Bowe. If you look at it though who will touch a movie deal?? it will sign their bankruptcy..... ask the NFL
