Honestly...and it might be the bourbon talking, but at this point what would jail time do to him? He has to live with this shame for the rest of his life and in a way I'm glad he does not have a cell to hide in. Let's be real, how many times is he going to relive shame as he looks for job, yeah... I can live with this decision.

An alternative viewpoint but those who suffered after searching for Bergdahl have to live the rest of their lives with the wounds sustained. It also sets a precedents that committing these acts will result in no punishment.

1SG (Join to see) - True and I feel that concern, but right now I'm going to focus on that silver lining.
Still, I do wish him the worst in his job hunt. And I dearly hope that he is reminded of this for years to come.
