Granted, the young lad made a serious mistake. However, it should have taken less than 30 seconds to figure out it was a dummy grenade. If TSA isn't trained to identify them, then shame on TSA. If it is training for that and it took that long to clear the issue, then TSA has a training issue. A hollow piece of metal with a blue handle is so obviously not a danger. Just chunk it in the junk box with all the nail files, pocket knives, and belt buckles. Good grief.
