The jury is deliberating, and we should be prepared for a conviction. That’s not to say there isn’t reasonable doubt all over the hush money trial involving Donald Trump, but this whole trial was a circus from the start so it’s unsurprising that its finish was more of a clown show. The judge’s instructions to the jury is aberrant, with some folks commenting on social media that these guidelines for the jury wouldn’t be legal in Zimbabwe. It will only take four jurors to convict Trump, Reporter John Roberts: Judge Merchan just told the jury that they do not need unanimity to convict. 4 could agree on one crime, 4 on a different one, and the other 4 on another. He said he would treat 4-4-4 as a unanimous verdict

The Judge did not just put his thumb on the scales of justice he loaded it up with sacks of cement. If there was any doubt that this was a political show trial yesterday’s reading of the law (according the Judge) removed all doubt. This is not the America I supported and defended. Every clear thinking American should be outraged at what is taking place in that courtroom.

LTC Marc King the only ones outraged are the people who understand the rule of law. Instead, you have an entire group of people who just firmly believe that orange hair man is bad yet they offer no reasons why other than it's Donald Trump. That side of the isle completely has the blinders on and cannot think down the road far enough of the consequences a guilty verdict has.

It’s has happened before … It is important to note that in 2016/2017 That same orange man resisted the chants to “Lock Her Up” because he said it would not be good for the country! From the man who whould destroy democracy!

LTC Marc King - when the Judge and the DA are both Democrats, he wasn't going to win no matter what he did. I pray this will be overturned but I agree with you that I too hope it won't garner a reaction from the masses.

I've never heard of such a thing. Each charge should be weighed on its own merit. Could the Judge be setting any conviction up to be turned of on appeal? It sure sounds like it because normally 1 Not Guilty vote is enough to aquit.

All the Dems want is a conviction. They care not what for, just give them a guilty verdict that they can wave around for a day or two. Then they will feel vindicated for 8 years of Harassment and idiocy.

What happened yesterday is an outrage and should be overturned. But, I go back to my previous comment of can he get a fair trial in New York and I don't think that's possible. When Judge Juan Merchan is a Democrat and has donated to Democrat campaigns, that should tell you something. MSgt Dale Johnson I pray this is overturned but I fear they will just attempt to do the same thing again.
