Truly an unfortunate situation for all concerned. Alcohol the probable catalyst and the filters came off exposing the young man's ignorance in terms of both race and privilege. Driver's reaction was measured and understandable. Anger is "a second hand emotion;" that is, it is a response to either fear or hurt. At the bottom of this, the young man's remarks were hurtful (not to mention insensitive, offensive, ridiculously profane and ignorant). Glad it did not escalate. I think the driver handled the situation pretty well.

Another reason I wouldn't use my car for Uber. Ignorant people in my space.

when did we stop punishing rioters & looters? when did the rule of law become nothing? why do we have "protected classes"? what *EXACTLY* is a hate crime & why are crimes against some people considered more heinous than the same crimes committed against others? when did "equal opportunity" become a sick joke?
