Stephen you have got to be kidding? Well my thought is what do you have that can take off and land on the carrier? Oh and bring some ship with some big guns and lots of rockets/missiles and whatever else makes stuff fly apart and not work.

LTC Jeff Shearer - I was reading at the next aircraft carrier was supposed to be a regular catapult launch system but the British have too much money for healthcare and not enough money to to make the aircraft carrier be capable of taking other than the F-35 buggy Strike Fighter. As you know, the F-35 is behind schedule and 600 million dollars over budget and they claim that the plane can do everything but all I can do is see the enemy but it's too fat the dog fight though it may have the ordinance to take out the other planes that can't see it and it cannot talk to the F-16 or F18 because of their sophisticated Communications they have to use a global hawk to be able to talk between the different platforms of aircraft. This could be a weakness that North Korea or Iran can exploit.

Correction because it was approved as a poet I buy President Bush jr. Before all the bugs were ironed out, the F-35 is 600 billion dollars in over 7 years behind schedule. That is why Australia and Canada backed out. Canada was supposed to buy the F- 18 super hornet but because they got caught funding Bombardier with government subsidies, Canada will not buy the 18 of the F-18 they were planning to buy so they're flying the F-18 alpha bravo models until they'll crash. The US government recently added a 200% tariff to Canadian commercial Jets because of the 300 million dollar subsidy
