at first I thought it would be good to expose them to reality, but on consideration, I have to say that the idea is a really, really bad one based on your comment: if they choose to induct the snowflake they will alter not only morale, but they will undermine the very nature of the military, it's discipline, values and effectiveness.

Another marketing ploy destined for the dustbin of marketing ploys. Almost as bad as "an Army of one". You have to recruit people with a lot of solid life skills that are willing to serve and want to serve their country out of a sense of duty and patriotism. The compassion of a snowflake is worthless as is the focus of a phone zombie and the confidence of a selfie addict (whatever that means).
