We have bad laws on the books. Easier to put them there, than to get them off.

An interesting time in our history. There is an ongoing battle at a school named David Starr Jordan in the Los Angeles area. Some folks want to change the name of the school because Jordan was a Eugenics supporter. They forget all the other good things that he accomplished in his life. They also seem to be completely unaware that there was a time in US history that eugenics was once supported by many folks and commonly accepted.

I bet they don't change the name of any schools named for Margaret Sanger, another noted eugenics proponent. Among her notable achievements is founding Planned Parenthood. It is not an accident that early clinics were placed in places like Haarlem.
