CPL Patrick Brewbaker I can only shake my head in disgust when the appearance becomes more important than the reality for our nation's leaders. I had a brilliant, philosophical room-mate at the USAFA who asked me, "water, or wave?" I didn't know what he meant. He was asking me to pick. What's really important? The beautiful shape and curl and potential power of the wave? Or the fundamental building block of life?

that's not a very good strategy... I guess it goes to the old thesis, "A power system will do anything no matter how brutal to preserve itself...."

CPL Patrick Brewbaker - I agree... I live near Cleveland and the RNC is coming in July... After the cavs win on Sunday they were flipping cars and smashing law enforcement vehicles... and the Cleveland police just sat there and watched... When the RNC comes in July, I don't want to be anywhere near that city...
