All is not harmonious in moonbeam land? I am shocked!

I think this is the interesting item in the article:
"For Rendon, the backlash began after he sidelined the bill, SB562, which looked to eliminate insurance companies in California and make state government the “single-payer” for health care services."
So, it appears that Democrats in the State are not fond of the free market system. Why would the State want to control health care insurance when it has been shown that every time the government takes over a program the costs increase? It is all about controlling the People and getting votes.
Now- what happens when the Doctor to patient percentage increases? Rationing of health care services will be the result and or the State will have to allow residents to go to other states for care.
