Camp Pendleton Marines Return from a Month of Fighting California's Largest Fires

Part of Washington States problems with fire is improper forest management. Hopefully that is not part of California’s problem. We need better forest management from our respective state government administrations. Hats of to the Corps for stepping in and lending a hand on these devastating fires.

We were doing that while I was in the Marine Corps, not very large fires because we kept all the underbrush cleared and a 50 Fire break to each side of all over head electrical lines, the grass fires that we fought were nothing like what is going on right now in California.
