‘Can you hear me?’ Norfolk Police take action warning residents of new phone scam

I downloaded an app to my cell called "hiya" it screens calls- the great thing about it is it automatically blocks any scam calls, my phone rings once, the alert comes up with the number, and I can report the number as a scam number. I used to get ALOT of scam/auto dial calls, not anymore. The app is free and has saved me a lot of headaches and stress.

this was on the news in the Triangle and triad of NC last weekend...
