CAP Observes 76 Years of ‘Vigilant Service to Country and Community’

Happy anniversary to the Civil Air Patrol. December 1, 1941, in a prescience move, the Civil Air Patrol was established within the Office of Civilian Defense. For 76 years, the volunteer airmen of the Civil Air Patrol, have served this nation with distinction. For 32 years it has been my honor and privilege to serve with and support these outstanding individuals. Their dedication, sacrifice, and performance is always inspiring. Semper Vigilans!
