I find several oddities in the article. She was brought into the hospital because of low oxygen levels but her levels were normal. Family refuses to allow intubation but then is upset when she isn’t intubated? Precedex doesn’t cause respiratory depression in therapeutic, normal dosing. Precedex is used on fragile patients for that reason. It is expensive. It seems like a lot of misunderstanding. Don’t forget family was blocked by government from seeing family members. With two family members covide positive I could see family members being bared from the hospital.
