I found this in the Vietnam Vets Group on Facebook, the personal experience of one Vet having sleep problems. It sounded interesting enough to share here...
I have had sleep problems for years. It got worse after I retired. Until 2 weeks ago I was taking up to 4-hour naps whenever, and I was sometimes up for 30 hrs straight between naps. This ended 2 weeks ago when I finally took some CBD. Since then my naps have elongated into six hour naps, but I just woke up from my first 7 hour sleep. I am taking 1/4 of an eye dropper's worth of CBD once a day under the tongue I reported here last week that after my first dose I had three six-hour naps over the next 28 hours. Since then my 6-hour naps have been the usual, until this last one of 7 hours. I haven't woken up feeling 'refreshed' in years; in fact, I usually feel dull and tired. But not this past week. I was a medic in Nam for 27 months, including 15 months as a Dustoff medic. After the war I got a PhD in Biology and taught and did research at universities. I am now reading the scientific literature on cannabinoid receptors and will try and present a summary of that if my CBD sleep experiment works out. Welcome home Brothers.
