Hard and sad story but this happens so often. The message is loud, clear, and inspiring. Find Purpose! We all have it!

Video was both painful and uplifting (as a former 3/2 Marine from years ago...that caught me too).
Outside of the awesome work Team Rubicon does, I think an important lesson for leaders from this story is our Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, or Airmen don't turn into "pieces of sh*t" when we separate them. Not second guessing this Marines discharge, but pointing out he is still an awesome guy.
Just because the military doesn't work out for someone doesn't mean they don't have value...too many times I've seen us (me included) completely write someone off as soon as we begin to separate them.
