Having an aircraft carrier and sailing an aircraft carrier are two vastly different things. As nations acquire them, they will struggle for many decades before they accumulate the necessary seamanship skills and compete with the US Navy. By then, we'll likely still be better...

She was actually in the yards, so no seamanship this time. However the Admiral Kuznetsov is so poorly designed/maintained that she is accompanied by a special tug wherever she goes. They are supposedly, replacing the problematic boilers, and arresting cables and upgrade other obsolete systems. Maybe they should just tow it to China as it seems like the Chinese have a handle on constructing them at least.
BTW the air wing reportedly performed well in her one combat deployment, from the base they transferred to after they lost a couple over the side. Both as a result of arresting cable casualties if I remember right.

Until the Chinese can sail an Around the World Cruise with it's carrier I will have Zero faith of them doing anything more than the Cheapest.

Well, there is one positive thing we can say about the Russian Carrier. They can weld. There we have proof of the one good thing about their Carrier.
