Chilling mystery behind America's ski town 'Suicide Belt'

I grew up, 10 years old to 19 years on St Thomas USVI. We used to say, “we Are a corner of the box, you tilt the box of the world up and all the lose nuts end up here”. I imagine it is like that at ski resorts. Easy parties, easy living, jobs available etc. problem is jobs are low paying and the partying gets in the way of jobs. People lose everything they had to the party. Herman Wouk wrote a book about the insanity of St Thomas called “ Don’t Stop the Carnival “. I imagine ski towns are the same.
