Quite a games changer... the mobile equivalent of the G-I-UK line.
I don't believe the reporting on US capability is quite accurate (i hope). I believe some NOAA & university research drones have endurance capabilities for both distance & duration. I seem to recall a self (wave) powered drone (had a whale tail) with virtually no limit on range/duration.
