China just showed it has a new 'Dark Sword' fighter jet — and it's a nightmare for the US

Espionage is something China uses...look at the parts that look like our planes...and recent past espionage cases. Yes, we might owe China some money, but we also opened China to growth. 30 years ago it was horrible.

Hard to tell design cues with pictures available, but a few observations: Looks designed for higher mach 3+ travel, but relatively small size (compared to SR-71, e.g.) indicates shorter range and high wing loading indicate lower maneuverability, high landing speeds, small payload and less endurance. I see no canards on this pic, although other mock-up pics have canards near the nose. Maybe they discovered canards (the gaps between the fuselage and the canards) increase the RCS too much, but without the canards, this will turn poorly...even worse than an F-35. I'm skeptical. China will not produce these as shown because of the real-world drawbacks.

They're Commie, they're evil, they're devious, they're dangerous...all the innocents should be pulled out of that place, then just bulldoze it into the Pacific Ocean, and graze sheep on what's left, honest....
