China's longest space mission launches

looks like BHO has set US back 10 years if not 15 in Space exploration...

We are getting back into space. We have private companies developing their own vehicles and missions, ones that they hope will earn a profit. Meanwhile, NASA spends as much money every year as we used to spend when we had manned spaceflights and deep space missions. What are they doing with that money? Well, they're not doing anything useful, that's for sure. Like all bureaucracies, NASA is a boondoggle. A waste of money. It should be shut down, along with the US Dept of Education, the EPA, the Dept of Energy, and several more.

Yep, we need to be in space but where do we get ,the money to do it? Private space programs are moving foreword so maybe a private-government consortium might be the answer.
