all true... but software (including AI) has in it's logic the prejudices & perceptions of it's programmers. it may be very nuanced, but code bias does exist.

so the left-wing geeks that program the AI for Facebook's algorithms may be striving for objectivity, there will always be bias in their code. the difference of a decimal point in a grading algorithm can tip a decision either way.

code doesn't have ethics. but coders do have biases.
