China to join Idlib offensive, took part in Russian Mediterranean drill - DEBKAfile

These drills ended on the 8th. There was very little in the news this weekend about Syrian government forces except a possable gas attack. Then, a warning from America.
U. S. Marines reinforced a base on the Jordan border and Trump is kicking out the Hamas office.
It is my understanding, both Russia and China have agreements with Iran to help them should they be attacked in a military manner. Also, it is an agreement based on the desire for energy. National interests?
I realize as a civilian there is very little information to gather in order to see the bigger picture and I do not want to be viewed as having lose lips. So, I will just leave this post as is as food for thought. Hopefully, there will be peace in Syria.
