At some point, China is going to call Trump's bluff. Are we willing to use military action in regards to Taiwan or the South China sea? Or can he and his advisors find economical means to hurt China? If he doesn't come up with another trade policy to replace the TPP and isolate China's trade activities in the Pacific then oh well.

Probably the best way to hurt China but in a way that they have no idea its happening, would be to re-energize American industry. Lets take one industry like TVs. Have America make TV's again and offer discounts to people that trade in their foreign TVs for American. This would reduce reliance on China, at the same time creating jobs. Next would be to get rid of foreign flagged shipping. We ship little of our own stuff anymore. Increase the shipping which again, creates jobs while at the same time reducing dependence on China.

Sound strategy only that advances in electronics and technology is more competitive with Japan and South Korea. We do need to identify what China is best at producing and exporting but most of it is inexpensive, cheap quality goods. America is to take pride in quality and value without being too expensive in order to be competitive. That's why American businesses to include Trump's businesses been outsourcing to China and others for decades now.
