If capturing them doesn't expose our forces to excessive risk, why not simply detain enemy soldiers for the duration of the conflict and allow them to decide if they are willing to provide information? Build a POW camp in Nevada in the middle of nowhere and treat them as POWs, if they are willing to cooperate then listen to what they have to say... but outside of that handle them the same as we handled German troops during WW2. Yes, I understand that unlike WW2... this war will never end and that we would be treating many of them far better than they deserve... it is still the solution that sucks the least.

SP5 Christine Conley - No, we prove we are better than they are... by being better than they are. We treat them with respect and dignity, and actually practice the values we are supposed to hold.

While it is true that more and better Intel can be obtained from a live insurgent than a dead one, this does raise a few questions. Like, as a foreign fighter, what status is he regarded by as far as Geneva Convention is concerned? Should he be repatriated, as the current Regime maintains, or kept imprisoned until after hostilities end, which is going on 15 years now? Or should we just feed him to the fish?

Did they treat their captives nice? Ask the Jordanian Pilot, who was in a cage and burned alive. They think us are fools. How many of our people have they released back to us, that we sent back into the war against them?

I think reciprocity is something to look at. Do they treat our people well? Do they behead Jordanian Pilots? Do they release them back to the battle field. Are we getting the bad side of this deal?
