Christianity is still experiencing robust growth around the world, and Evangelical Christianity is still growing in the US... however Christianity (as a percentage of the population) is currently declining in the US.

The FRC is a hate group not because it disagrees with the SPLC on gay rights, lots of groups disagree with the SPLC on gay rights and are not considered hate groups.
