I’ve watched videos about this. Although the idea is that this could be an interstellar probe. I firmly believe it’s just space debris. If it were to be anything extraterrestrial this would be a spacecraft with beings aboard. Potentially with superior beings to ourselves.
Our movie producers would have you believe that aliens would eradicate our existence from the universe. I would like to think, as informed idea, that they may look at us like we look at animals in a zoo. We’re by no means a power to threaten their existence in space so why waste the effort of waging war with a puny civilization that has no means of defending ourselves from their more powerful and devastating weapons. Even our nuclear power could be used and wouldn’t destroy their fleets like the Hollywood Silver Screen portrays. Our power would be like throwing tiny rocks at a bowling ball hoping for it to pop like a ballon.
The object itself reminds me of the Rebel Alliance in Star Wars. Who knows George Lucas may have seen something like this in the night sky as a kid and proceeded to build upon the imaginative story of Star Wars.
If this thing is just a probe, then my question would be why? Why probe the area? We’re continuously refining our Earth and Terra Forming it constantly. Which would give the impression to “aliens” that they could take our system once we get that far to sap resources for their own.
Ultimately, I feel President Trump is pushing the right direction for a “Space Force”. First we’d need a Space Dock, then Starships. The idea seems crazy, but it’s worth more in the long run to harvest resources from our system than to stick to what we have on Earth.
In closing, space would be the best way to extend our time as a civilization and push past our history and aggression towards our humanity. May seem silly or stupid, but I’m just speaking based on what the world would need versus what We The People need.
