Classified docs found in Biden's private office from vice presidency

He committed THE cardinal sins of classified materials. He lost control of the documents and they were not in an approved storage container. But he's good because it's only been a couple years since he supposedly was in the office.

It sounds like the right procedures and processes are being followed - like any time someone finds unsecured classified. Someone found it, it was reported and now there's an investigation. The same thing has happened when I, anytime I've been a security manager, am informed of a security violation. Someone reported it to me, I reported it higher, IO appointed, investigation conducted, results briefed to command and then punishments.

The investigation will find out how they got there and the appropriate people who mishandled it should be held accountable. What's the issue? If he stored them there then he should be held accountable.

I am not surprised at this! Why did those documents remain in his old office as Vice President?
