Thanks, Sargent Reynolds. After my experiences as a Corpsman in VN and the States, I enrolled in Anthropology at UNLV back in 1971. Claude was one of my more interesting studies. I was fascinated by what was called Psycholinguistics at the time, and Claude was one of the primary study sources for the history thereof. His politics I found, well, just say circumspect. However, his philosophical and psychological insights to human communication and worldview were very interesting; almost as interesting as Sapir Whorf and others.
